A/C fan speed fluctuating
Hello everyone. I have a MY2023 110 dynamic X. The vehicle has been great overall but I just started to notice A/C fan speed fluctuations. It is most noticeable on lower fan speeds the fan speed will slow down and speed up slightly and randomly. The dealer is telling me everything is working as it should but it just feels strange to me. I have tried different settings like LO and also tried turning climate control to 60 and still does the same thing. A/c fan is not noisy at all.

Does anyone have any feedback on this issue and is it normal operation?

Thanks for and help!

CK

The fan will change speed in order to maintain temperature.

Mine will start at a high speed and then the fan speed varies depending on temperature.

Have you tried the manual setting (Try this...Air distribution to footwell and screen, ventilation fan on 2 or 3 and A/C on)

Does the fan speed change or is it steady?

Hi Lightning, thank you for the reply. I will try those settings, I have only made adjustments on the push button A/C setting in the gear shift cluster. I have not tried any setting in the touch screen yet.

Currently the fan speed is random but let me try that out.

Thanks again,

Chris

The fan speed will fluctuate because you will have it set on auto climate control, so the fans will increase or decrease to keep the temperature at the temp you have selected Thumbs Up Cheers Ian

I believe mine is doing the same thing as yours. The fan speed will randomly change for about a second or two and then go back to where it was. No idea why. It doesn't bother me, though I did think it was kind of odd. 2023 130 dynamic X. 4 zone climate

Thanks for the input everyone. I went to the extent of purchasing an anemometer to measure the air speed fluctuations and included a video below on a typical 100 degree day in AZ (sweater weather) haha. I can understand the idea of climate control in the vehicle and the system adjusting for ideal temp but this just doesn't feel right. In the heat of our summer in 115 temps the the air was still fluctuating to the point where it was uncomfortable in the car even with cooled seats.
