Insurance
Good morning.

We are purchasing a defender on Saturday, it's a 2007 double cab pick-up 2008.

The insurance quotes I am currently having to pursue are van insurance..... my fear is these are going to be market valuations of the defender..... is there any insurance companies that would do an agreed value ?

I am currently with A PLan (recently changed name to Howden) and they have an agreed value option, I'm sure the various LR Insurers will have this option.

A Plan have recently withdrawn Insurance for Defenders post ~2014MY due to the issues with keyless entry related thefts on other RR and LR Models details below, your 2008MY should be OK.

There are a few suggestions in the thread or Adrian Flux, Lancaster etc Craig.
