A what if variant of the Defender 130
I often wondered why Land Rover never made a Defender 130 station wagon when the Puma seating came out. Think of all of the boot space BEHIND the third row of seats. I suppose it would have been a low volume vehicle sales wise. Then the engineering involved, a new roof section or a complete new roof. New rear floor section and new panels behind the rear passenger side doors. Anyway perhaps INEOS might do something if they thought it would sell. Just one of those thoughts that come and go... 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

SVO did some 130 station wagons to special order. Saw one on a shooting estate in Scotland.

They did the 150 version as well, they were at LR experience at Solihull, not sure if they are still there.

Anyone got any photos?

I think it was referred to as a 147 rather than 150

There was also the Dutch Spec 'unibody' 130.

Didn't have the separate loadbed and had the same departure angle as a 110 (as does my conversion).

The Matthewson's one is even rarer, it is a SIII 127" vehicle with 2.1/2 doors per side. See https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic89636.html

I remember seeing a photo of a 130 SW but with the widened high capacity rear buck with a funny little side door. Looked really cool but can't for the life of me find it now, as I've looked before. Might have just been CGI. James
