For sale, a Dixon Bate Shocklink mkII complete with Towball. Comes with two mounting pins and adjustable chassis frame. This unit has been regularly serviced. Dixon Bate Shocklink mkII's are very rare.
Makes a lot of difference to comfort when towing a caravan. Shocklink is designed to absorb drawbar shock and reduce driver fatigue. It fits between the vehicle’s towbar and the trailer and allows the trailer to move in a vertical direction independent of the towing vehicle. This arrangement results in a much smoother ride reducing risk of damage and fatigue. How Does It Work? The Shocklink “floats” in a vertical direction similar to that of a shock absorber in that it reacts to changes in the motion of the trailer as it is towed over different road surfaces, at varying speeds. It is a sealed unit containing two springs with rubber snubbers that effectively absorb up to 70% of the shockwaves being transmitted along the trailer’s drawbar. Comes with two mounting pins and adjustable chassis frame. In excellent condition- Collection Only from Anglesey as it is very heavy. Or will package if you arrange a courier. £500.00 Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at.. http://www.youtube.com/user/conwy1 |
