Hoops and Canvas Now on ish!
Still needs a bit of adjustment but nearly there, the Hoops and Canvas were used with the Canvas needing a good clean but still in really nice condition. Don ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge |

Lovely. When you clean the canvas get it slathered in some preservative, seal grease, nikwax, canvas protector... Whatever your preferred weather repellency additive is.

Looks great!
From previous experience, Milton sterilising fluid in hot water and a stiff scrubbing brush will clean up canvas (and mohair) really well. Once dry, Fabsil applied with a paintbrush proofs the canvas perfectly, water beads up on my roof like it would do on polished paintwork. Just don't get it on the plastic windows as it will make them go cloudy ![]() 1989 300Tdi 90 Soft top 1992 200Tdi 90 Truck cab with Land Cruiser axles |
