I don't see why there would need to be any specific caveats since on a 2020 vehicle everything must be type approved. It would be interesting to see what happened in the event of a claim if the bull bars were found not to be type approved.
There will be a general insurance requirement that the vehicle must be legal and roadworthy, and a non-type-approved bull bar would void that not because it is a bull bar but because it isn't type approved. If the non-TA bar was in any way contributory to the claim I would expect there to be issues of the undesirable kind.
Please note that I am not suggesting that Mr Drumstick's bar isn't type approved, I am talking in general terms.
