Ford Ranger Opinions
Firstly don’t hate me Laughing

I know there are some here that have owned these. So I’m looking for some advice.

I’m toying with selling my 110 and I’m looking at a 2020 Ranger 2.0 Bi Turbo with 35k on the clock.

I only do around 6k a year in the Defender but want something with 4WD and a good towing capability. I’ve never owned a vehicle with adblue either. What are people’s thoughts on them. I would be keeping it for a minimum of five years.

Thanks. Thumbs Up

Both my brother and my nephew have 2020 Ford Rangers, both vehicles have been excellent, with zero issues.

I did look into buying before L200 and found this video very useful

Jumped ship to reliability - Mitsubishi L200
Puma 90 XS - Sold
D3 - 2.7 S x2 (both Sold)
Freelander 2 HSE - Sold
Freelander 1 - Sold
Disco 2 - Sold

At one point I had 15 in the fleet - at most 4-5 years old - and I have never had them all on the road successfully at once. We generally had at least two or three broken down at any one time. Wiring looms rubbing through causing mayhem, gearbox failures, adblue problems, just generally very poor build quality. Some spent long periods of time back at Ford trying to get things fixed.

Nice things to drive, but I wouldn’t touch one with a barge pole. This year the final four get replaced with Hiluxes.

Noo.. keep the 110, get a better 110 or px a 90, but don't get rid of it completely. What you've got is interesting and exiting, anything else will be dull and boring. For me it's not about how good ( or bad) it is, but the whole adventure experience that goes with it.

Turn up in a defender anywhere and someone will be interested, turn up in a ford and your invisible. Have a defender and you'll have friends everywhere you go!

We have quite a few at work. They don't seem to give any real issues, but like most of today's utes they are just very very bland white goods.

Quick question..

Is there a reason the Raptor Ranger uses a 2 inch receiver hitch and the rest of the range uses the normal (UK) ball hitch?

We have one at work no issues in a year and 25000 miles. It is just very ordinary any other duel cab would feel the same
