A few options:
1. Leave it as is - an urban battle mark. 2. Anneal, and pull/hammer back to shape (probably with several annealing processes in between). 3. Find another damaged roof, but with intact gutter to salvage that portion, cut off damaged part (best to the angle next to door) and weld in the salvaged piece. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing 2012 90 CSW, 2.2TDCI, Santorini Black |

4. find an undamaged roof and replace. Admittedly not necessarily that available in every country

6) leave as it is, clean up, seam seal and re-paint. You'd barely notice it after that.
Is the roof split? and how is it sitting on the lower panels? Might need sealing as well. |

With the madness that pervades here now, that would probably be an insurance write-off.

Here's a cross section view I've found in a German forum. Maybe it helps.
