A friend of mine has two Series III's that he uses for his wedding hire business up here in Northumberland but they have travelled all over the country for weddings https://www.landroverweddinghires.co.uk/

Don’t think my hardtop is suitable for weddings!
I might hire the Riley out when I finish it! Click image to enlarge |

I have to disagree that a red Defender is not suitable as a wedding car. This pic is from last year, our daughter's wedding. When making the plans the first thing on her list was to have the Defender as her wedding car. It did her proud - and one very proud dad on all fronts. But beware.... the clutch went the following week!!!!! |

A red Defender is most suitable as wedding car! Mine isn’t, not because of its redness! It’s because it’s a slab sided hardtop!

Using a Land Rover as a wedding car used to be a bit unusual.
Fifty one years ago. Click image to enlarge Summer 1969. I drove these two from the church. |

We used my Stage 1 as our wedding car, which attracted a bit of attention.
