Pre Made Loom’s Into One Switch

Hi,

After a bit of help if possible? I’ve bought two pairs of Hella Black Magic lights, spot and flood, to go on my expedition roof rack. They come with a loom made up with switches on but when I bought the Defender there was the below switch in the cubby box. Is it possible to wire both looms into the one switch or should I look at trying to wire both looms into the one switch that you can get from MUD with the four spade connectors on the back?

The switches on the looms have three spade connectors on each which can be removed, can I then join them together to make one switch control both separate looms at the same time? Just looking for on/off and not fussed for them being on the full beam.

The switch I have already is this with 5 pins on the back.

Did something similar with a kit/loom for a compressor switch and 2 diff lockers. The kit came with carling switches, but we wanted the LandRover push button switches. It took some thinking, and internal modifications to the switches (I think I needed to change from normally open to normally closed, although not clear in my mind anymore), and also the supply to the switch LED. But for sure it is possible. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

How do you want the lights to be switched? Only off the dash switch or with the headlights, or choice of both, etc?

Which looms are they, any link to what you bought?

I’m happy just to have them switched on their own and not with the full beam headlights. Each switch has three wires going into the back of it so guess +/- and then earth or to light the switch when turned on?

I’d happily, and have space, on the dash side cheek panel from the double din conversion to put two of these switches from MUD where I can use the already fitted spades onto the switch and then find a supply to illuminate when the headlights are turned on?

Wiring isn’t my strong point so would like to keep it simple but also keep it looking relatively OEM.
