I hate that dirt/mud
Hi,
so I have been powerwashing my chassis twice (front section), and brushing it with a brush and the red fleece, and it did not remove anything, first time I used classical car shampoo, second time I used parts-cleaner, and that dirt sticks really hard.
The only way I managed to get it removed is to scratch it with with Mike's spatule and/or to sand it with 80/120 grid sandpaper which is however pretty tedious and time consuming.

I am aware that sanding removes a little of the Zink coat,.

I can't believe there is no other solution or should I just leave the chassis as is, I would like to have additional protection however.

BTW I also tried Kaiserrein Zink Cleaner which doesn't help.

I mean it feels clean, grease seems gone, but when you scratch the surface you realise that there is still some dirt.

Here are some pics. The part where the tools lie on is the cleanest after sanding, still it is not perfectly clean. There also seams to be some kind of coating at certain places, e.g. where the suspension holder is.
