Online Pack subscription
Just received an email from Land Rover about the Online Pack subscription, saying it was only valid for 12 months, so mine should have expired now as the car is over 12 months old. But the email they have just sent looks like they are giving it for free (possibly)

When your current 12-month subscription period ends, we'll automatically extend your Online Pack services at no extra cost until further notice.* (and Wi-Fi hotspot if you selected this option).

You will be notified 30 days in advance of your new expiry date to renew your subscription.

With Land Rover's Online Pack subscription you can enjoy in-cabin services including streaming with online music services such as Spotify or Deezer, listen to podcasts, and check the weather anywhere. All the in-journey information you need, without any other data bills or contracts.

Land Rover's Wi-Fi Hotspot data plan connects to any local network through the vehicle's external antenna and delivers a powerful Wi-Fi connection for up to eight devices in your vehicle.


Where it says "until further notice.* " you will note the asterisk * which says

In Australia our vehicles came with 36 months in terms of the subscription packs, however the crux
is no one at the dealers, or even LR Australia it seems know how to extend the subscription
for owners once you get to the 3 year point.. I am looking to extend the connected NAV and
Secure tracker Pro, any one else having issues in being able to extend their subscriptions in other Countries i wonder ?? yet another pommie bar steward down under

My 3 year subs is up in a couple of months, LR just emailed me with renewal options. Current vehicle: 2020 Defender 110S
Gone: Defender 90 HT 200Tdi, Discovery Sport, Freelander 2

Options were: InControl with or without Secure Tracker, both for either 1 year or 2. Current vehicle: 2020 Defender 110S

Just had an update from our dealer, LR Oz (corporate suits) will not deactivate the subscription services
on the cut off date (36 months from new) until such time as they have sorted out the ecommerce side,
so at a later date owners can get out the wallet and pay for extending the service.. yet another pommie bar steward down under
