What Radiator for 2.4 TDCI
Hi not sure if this is the right place to post this but here goes, when working on my defender I noticed that the radiator was distorted at the bottom See photo. I am going to change it as a precaution can anyone advise on a good make for a replacement & is there any to be avoided.

Just fit another standard genuine one, in my opinion. It’s lasted 10 years. 2008 2.4 110 Utility Station Wagon XS.

Or a (cheaper) decent aftermarket. I lived in a lot of places with hot climate and radiators should be considered replacement items as their capacity to cool will be reduced with age. I cheap(er) new radiator is better than an old high quality item.

Just replace every 10 years or so.

If you do a search on here you will find that compared to the Genuine LR part “Nissens” make as good, if not better, coolant radiator for the Puma 2.4 and 2.2 , and do it at a significant lower price than the genuine Land Rover one.

As ever buy from an official Nissens retailer as there are lot of counterfeit products out there.

When my original LR radiator sprang a leak I replaced it with a Nissens radiator bought from my local factor. That was 200,000 miles ago and it has been perfect since.

The TD5 and TDCi use the same radiator.
