United Kingdom 2004 Defender 110 Td5 DCPU Oslo Blue
‘Feyon’ 110 Td5 Dcpu Refurb
Hi all,
Fairly new to the forum and thought I would share with you a few photos of my 2004/5 Td5 double cab 110. I’ve always fancied a Td5, and recently found one fairly locally with some fairly mild rear quarter damage. Only 64k miles, and chassis & bulkhead both in great nick. She’s currently in the body shop having the rear panels fitted a full respray, Waxoyl and raptor coating in rear tub. Lots of jobs planned for when she’s out (hopefully Friday).
So far I’ve bought a new Exmoor trim canvas back, new bonnet chequer plate, new cubby, seat bases, fire and ice runners and a Masai DAB stereo kit.
When funds allow I would like to do the following:
Stage 2 Alive remap/intercooler etc
Disco transfer
New all terrains
Rubber matting or carpets
Roof tent

Thanks Clayton! Thumbs Up
Trying to keep it as original as possible at the moment. Not sure what Land Rover colour the metallic blue is?

Not really sure what additional security to go for? I would like to try and keep a standard looking steering wheel as opposed to a removable one. I live on a dairy farm so might just keep it plastered in cow muck!!! Very Happy

Nice Defender. Very sure it will be a head turner, hence the security advised.
It seems to be Oslo Blue, but I think you can check the paint code on the brake pedal unit, on the vin plate. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing
2012 90 CSW, 2.2TDCI, Santorini Black

Thanks NickMc, I’ve always liked the shape of the double cab, despite the load bay not being hugely practical!!

Thanks Dinnu, I had a 1989 90TD when I passed my driving test in 2000. That was sprayed in Biarritz Blue and I would struggle to tell it apart from Oslo! I’ll check the VIN when I get it back.
Looking into more effective security measures with some forum searches. I’m tempted by a peddle lock box and some sort of electrical immobiliser!
