Some spotted in Lisbon.
I was in Lisbon (Portugal) in October and saw a few Defenders. Sadly I didn't get to meet Lrmanic and see his lovely Keswick green DC.

Paris-Dakar veteran?

Is the grille with the little grids underneath a normal fitment on Defenders then? Most of the ones I have seen have aircon with the snout type grille.
I don't remember seeing many Tdcis in Portugal, most seemed to be TD5s. There was also a nice old IIA we kept seeing. 2011 110 USW

Yup, all mine have had the seemingly-pointless grids underneath the main radiator grille. Not sure what they're for as the intercooler is about a foot above them Question

Ah okay, was wondering if it was some kind of export-spec aircon or something. 2011 110 USW

They came along with the Td5, something to do with the oil cooler I believe.
