Fuel Gauge reading above full constantly
I am sure this will have been covered before but i don't know where to start, my fuel gauge goes straight to full on startup and remains at that position until the ignition is turned off.
I have had the tank off several years ago to change a leaking hose and know what a dog of a job that is and the sender plug isn't even reachable without removing the tank, i cant see the sender wiring (any plugs) so i was wondering if there is somewhere i need to start to determine the fault please? Any help greatly appreciated.

The only thing I can contribute is that many cut a "window" in the floor panel for easy access the tank peripherals (pump, hoses, etc.). There exist sketches about dimensions, if you do a search you will find them.

Maybe it kept as simple as the older ones:

I had considered that Hornet but I wouldn’t fancy that to my pride and joy just to save a little time, it’s one of the family Very Happy
