I did the same on my old 110, wired via an immobilser. Worked a treat (until the immobilser died)
I used econoseal plugs so it all looked factory. |

No, a 2.4 has a mechanical fuel pump and hence no inertia switch.

Not to me which is why I asked. Where is it connected? Behind the dash or somewhere in the engine compartment? I take it that the switch is installed under the dash? I had never seen one of these or heard of one before the OP's advert. Jim |

On the TD5 Defender the inertia sensor lives under the bonnet up against the bulkhead
