A quick look at the parts diagram shows there are two different disks depending on chassis number and different options for wheel size, these are for 20"+ wheels
Front discs 380mm To N2072238 part number is LR161894 From N2072239 past number is LR161894 It looks like the discs are 363mm if you have smaller wheels Rear discs 363mm To N2072238 part number is LR099038 which supersedes to LR161899 as below From N2072239 past number is LR161899 There are loads of sets of pads depending on whether you have standard pads or high performance, the high performance ones are £700+ a set I have just looked these part numbers up so you need to check them before ordering anything Cheers Ian -------------------- 22MY Defender 110 D200 SE, Fuji White. It’s a V8 on 22” wheels and the VIN starts with 208, so looks like…
Discs Fronts LR161894 Rears LR161899 I’m assuming the callipers are the same for 380 and 363 discs and therefore the pads are the same? Any idea of OEM Brembo part numbers because sure as hell I’m not buying them from LR! Nor will I be paying them to do it when it’s a pretty simple job, certainly easier than the old D4… Cheers hairy Dan! Current Garage... 1998 Defender 90 300Td 2021 Defender Carpathian Edition |

Thanks all,
I guess I wont know for 100% until I get home and measure them! Hoping they are replaced along with the sunroof which was noted as cracked during the handover when purchasing - wife noticed, I was too busy behaving like an excited small child I also reported a moderate brake shudder even at low speeds only 10 minutes after we left the dealership, which hasn't improved. I hope they'll see sense and change the discs and pads - if not I'll do it myself. Current Garage... 1998 Defender 90 300Td 2021 Defender Carpathian Edition |
