Reverse light upgrade
One of the first upgrades I’m going to do is upgrade the reversing lights, I have been looking at Powerful UK and Rebel both look the part Rebel look like they came from Land Rover but are they £165 better looking/performing.

Any advice/information welcome.

Chris.

Its personal preference, I'm sure both work equally as well. The Powerful UK lights get good reviews and I prefer the more discrete look.

Have a search, there is a chap in the US that has fitted light that look like the rebel ones.

I've had the Powerfuluk ones installed coming up to a year now.
Very happy with the illumination, no issues. Paying triple for aesthetics is steep... 22MY Defender 110 D300 S in Pangea Green and Contrast White Roof

If you have 5 spoke rims, you can do it like I did:

I’ve had a look at these, aesthetically they would look great as its going to be a black car.

Lights are flood. Not perfect, chinese stuff. But cheap - 5 or 6 EUR/piece.
Wiring is simple, I have connected the + to the reverse light for trailer wiring inside the rear compartment, no drilling is needed to drive the wires to the spare wheel support. When you remove the spare wheel support you see rubber plug. Only time consuming activity (PIA) is to drive the wires through the rubber "harmonica tube" for wires from body to rear door.

Brown wire is the one!

I'm more than happy with mine. Not sure if it's out yet as I don't do IG, but they did a reel of the work completed on my blue 110. Not seen it on their youtube channel yet. But they did send me a sneak peak a few days after they completed the work. 110 D250 SE HT

Yes they did an instagram story and youtube short about my car also. Here's a video they have just done on the fitment for the new v3 lights, I really like the new ones, they look like they have always been there. Thumbs Up
