Handbrake wire ?
Anyone out there know where cable on handbrake switch goes to have switch on hand brake but no trace of wire or whare it goes or what type of connecter just one of those jobs been meaning to do have never had light on dash since owning the beast for 4 years many thanks chaps Endeavour To Persevere

Have striped back but have no wire at all has been removed at some point have checked underneath but cant find anything Endeavour To Persevere

Remove the centre seat panel.... You should be looking for a white wire with a grey tracer

Have pulled all carpets no trace of any wire from switch on hand brake where does wire go to and connect so I can make up new loom think whole wire has been cut out in past Endeavour To Persevere

You might be able to see from underneath, but it will be way easier to remove the metal panel under the centre seat or cubby box if you have one, the handbrake wire has a small bullet connector before it goes into the loom.

As far as I remember it is bundled into the main harness which runs over the top of the gearbox extension and transfer box.

Thank you blackwolf found stub of wire over transfer box and
ran new cable to hand brake now to move on to missing reverse wire and plug thanks to all again[/b] Endeavour To Persevere
