2010 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SW Alaska White

Ranger or Mazda t6 platform (had to google the platform part) Searching for my first Defender...and started just as Covid hit, so talk about timing.

5 months after starting the search I found it, and here is the details

Most of you are right with the Ford Ranger

So story goes like this as told by my indy to me . . . . . .

He buy's the odd vehicle at a good price so he can repair / service it and then sell it on. He bought this Ranger with a known turbo fault at a good price, so he cleaned it all up after putting the new turbo on and took it for a test run, on returning to the workshop, he left it running while he went and got something and on his return the engine had stopped, he tried starting it but it would not, yes you guessed it right, the engine had sized.
He was not happy so to cut his losses he advertised it, but no takers so he thought about what to do with it for some weeks, he came up with putting the 300Tdi in it, good solid engine and he is going to use it as his daily. Work commenced on the Ranger when he had any spare time, so after a good 6 months it is due to get a mot and he will start using it and making sure it's reliable, yes he had had a few set backs with it but he has got round them.

So with the one step forward and five steps back, he decided this suited it ( words might offend some )

As i saw my indy today, he had an update for me on the Ranger rover that it went in for it's mot and passed and he said that at the moment he is getting around 32 mpg with it
