Steveww, that's what I had in mind to do, secure it somehow.

A minor complication, but worth it if it helps me keep the truck and the steering wheel!

I use a chain and a padlock that boltcropers can't cut when i have to leave it with Millie, but hidden well Wink 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.

My 110 has the boss lock and I'm very happy with it.

Had a good conversation with James from optimill at billing off-road show. As far as he is aware he doesn't think anyone has manage to steal a defender by removing the steering boss.
