Afternoon All
I fancy changing some bits on the truck and like the look of these wheels/tyres and lift but does anyone know what they are? [img]https://www.defender2.net/gallery/albums/userpics/11131/normal_image.jpeg[/ My 90 already has a 2inch lift so would I need to do anymore and if so what? I don't go off road so it's just for the look. Cheers Life is one big adventure, that's why we have the vehicle for the journey. |

I wouldn't even like to guess what size rims they are? Nevertheless if it is just the 'look' you are after you could consider going smaller diameter, larger width rims with a decent offset and larger boots. Depends how radical you want to go?
Same Defender in each picture with no lift or spacers at all.... Standard.... ![]() Click image to enlarge 15" x 10" wheels with 32.5 X 11.5 tyres. Protruded slightly from arches. ![]() Click image to enlarge 16" X 8" wheels with 305 X 70 tyres. Perfect. There are numerous tyre calculators online that you can see effect on rolling radius/speedometer etc. to determine what may be best for you and to possibly keep the same rolling radius you have at the moment if you wish. ![]() Click image to enlarge If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Is that your truck K9f, the last picture is exactly what I'm after. How tall are those tyres? Life is one big adventure, that's why we have the vehicle for the journey.

Yes it's mine. Last picture tyres are BFG KM2s 305 X 70 X 16 which equates to approximately 33 inches. On my XS the HD suspension on the model gave a 1" lift over standard so you would have another 1" lift over what you see.

Good Morning Baldylocks....
Largest width you'll be able to go on a 7" wide rim is 285. Not recommended and some people will say not. As you (like me) do not off-road IMO you'd be ok with 285s. From the side they would look very similar. ![]() Click image to enlarge This may help you decide......285/75-16 mickey thompson on sawtooth alloys with 30mm spacers.. ![]() Click image to enlarge Taken from this thread: http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic40079....5+sawtooth If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!
