Defender immobiliser fob settings?
Hey guys,
I have a fob (appearance wise) like this one: https://www.remotekey.co.uk/shop/land-rove...14-models/
But it's on my 1998 300tdi...
In the past I used to hop in, turn the key, push the button and then turn final amount and it'd start... If I parked up it'd sort of reset the immobiliser automatically and to start again I'd have to go through the process again (not exactly laborious).

Somehow (no idea how) it's now changed so that now I have to SET the immobiliser when I want to leave it unattended... it won't do it automatically Crying or Very sad

Is there some sort of button pushing/key twiddling combo to change the settings that I've unknowingly carried out?

The immobiliser will turn on shortly after the car is turned off and the drivers door is opened. Otherwise it'll turn on after 5 minutes. Mine does this because the drivers door switch is disconnected.

Does the led start flashing 5 minutes after being turned off? LR Workshop
