That is badness on the Organisers behalf as anyone with animals who live locally might have made arrangements if they had known. For a country of animal lovers (allegedly) we have a strange way of showing it sometimes.

There was talk about pricing earlier in this thread. As a guide, The Great Henham Steam Rally is on this weekend (it’s not far from Southwold in Suffolk where they hold Latitude) and they are charging £16 to enter which to me seems a bit more acceptable. It’s also a really good well organised and well attended rally. I don’t think you would go and decide at 10.30am you wouldn’t be coming back.

As was said by AJC, these shows do need support but there has to come a point when you have to decide where best to spend your hard earned cash.

Fair comment mick.

It’s difficult putting anything on these days without someone starting a Facebook group and complaining to their MP Rolling Eyes

At £7 a pint, I think if I was camping, I would be having a supermarket trip first.

We did we only went for the bog off deal but that was Fosters 🙈

There's a lot of negative comments on here, I thought it was OK.

I went on Saturday for the day. I agree that charging extra for car parking is taking the P.
There was a good selection of trade and club stands, that's the main reason I go. I like to see what other people have on their Defenders and look at new products. Seeing items for real is so much better than a photograph on a website. Seeing everything in one place is way more convenient than trekking all over the country.

The local cell tower had a meltdown with the surge in traffic in what is normally a quiet area. As a result there was a good 4G signal but no bandwidth. This was a major problem for the trade stands as they could not do cashless payments.

I enjoyed the event and would go next year if it runs again.

Thanks for all the feedback here.
We came over from OZ for Goodwood Revival but had LRO tickets for Sunday. However, decided to stay another day at the Revival.
Having visited every Billing from 99-2008, I think nothing can live up to the peak days of LR shows. However, the revival was fantastic and we are already planning for 2025. M
