JLR Advisory Board
Anyone on here received an email and questionnaire to join the JLR customer Advisory board, looks legitimate. Mentions activities and events about new JLR products but apart from some introductory posts on a forum from a few weeks ago there's nothing else going on.

Yes, I received that email today. I was a member for five years until my car was deemed too old. I've recently rejoined with the new Defender, it looks like the advisory board is being relaunched as not much is happening at the moment. Previously I've done video interviews and surveys, gone on a factory manufacturing tour and a experience day at Eastnor.

Out of interest, did you do anything that led to you being asked/requested? Something I'd be quite interested in participating in...

I've been a member for years.
I've had the Lego model, a trip to Gaydon, and a half-day experience as a member.

I too had the invite email today.
Ironic considering I work for JLR.
I don’t think however I will pass the diversity and inclusion agenda, as middle age white male category may be slightly over subscribed.
Also looking to move my Defender on for a M3 Touring so standby for shots fired…….. Very Happy

I have not. buuut... I did get a very heavy and expensively packaged ad for a new defender. This thing was about two kilos of cardboard and origami pages..
To the members of the advisory board, I'd recommend you don't spend so much on advertising to existing customers..

JLR Advisory Board 🙄🙄 - translate to consumer focus group testing.

Plus it’s a complete waste of time and money. JLR, as with many companies just interpret the results of focus group testing to reinforce what they wanted to do in the first place. The only thing that drives them to take note of what customers actually want is when sales performance is down compared to the respective market segment.
