GENUINE Defender Puma 2.4 (2010) ignition switch part number
Hi All,

As the title suggests, i'm looking for a part number for a GENUINE Defender Puma 2.4 (2010). i've tried google, and ive seen a few UK-based online stockists say "genuine", with very different price tags, and very different part numbers - how many genuines are there. I'm swerving Britpart and Lucas ... in some cases it seems more cost effective to replace the whole barrel considering the dismantling process.

Will order the pesky shear bolts as well as i know they wont survive, and perhaps a clamp.

...once again, the hive mind's input is appreciated!!

Thanks!!

Try having a look here:

Under the Diagrams section, might prove useful, presumably it’s still usable. WeWillWin🇬🇧🇺🇸

Rimmer Bros always good for genuine parts - and listed alongside available OE and pattern alternatives

Just buy from a proper Genuine JLR main dealer part number LR077438 thats a lockset which is usually cheaper than buying just the ignition lock by itself. £134.50 plus VAT. That way you get the proper late longer keys and barrels for three doors to match. The copy locks are terrible quality from non genuine outfits.
