110 TD5 wheel alignment tolerance
Hi all,

Having replaced the tie rod ends on a 110 TD5 (stock set up with no relevant mods), I took it to get the alignment checked for free at a garage with a fancy lazer machine. The results show Left Front Toe minus 0deg15', Right Front Toe minus 0deg 34'. So just less than half a degree out in total.

It drives fine, but is that enough to affect tyre wear over time?

(The rears, which I know are not adjustable, are Left minus 0deg27' and Right minus 0deg23', so my assumption is that the fronts are within the realms of reasonable tolerance)

Thanks!

Not worth worrying about.

The normal tool for Defender wheel alignment is a tape measure!

He's not joking. I align mine with a sort of extendable curtain pole and it drives great with no odd handling or tyre wear .
