l believe the proposed smaller Defender, which was going to be all electric, has been put on hold due to the poor take up of electric vehicles.
l am sure we will eventually get it though. |

Personally, I think any major facelift or design change could hurt the Defender Octa’s sales. JLR would be better off keeping the Defender in line with the G-Wagon approach, a timeless, instantly recognizable design with subtle updates that enhance functionality and visual appeal, rather than drastic overhauls!
It feels like the new Defender might be taking on a similar role to the Evoque within the Range Rover lineup.. a more compact, stylish version that’s possibly aimed at younger buyers or a broader market. That said, I’m curious how this direction might affect sales of the 90 Series going forward.. |
