You either need to put your transfer box into lock, or as you have, put your handbrake on. Otherwise the centre differential is “open” so it will spin the easiest.

As others have said - you need to lock your centre differential (diff lock) and you’ll be away.
It’s behaving correctly. |

With the handbrake on, without center diff you will get an extra high gear as the center diff will spin the front prop 2x normal speed
