Either is fine budget wise, I am so out of touch with the specs and look of the vehicle, I just wanted people’s views on the MY25 specs and which they would go for…need support in making a decision lol🤣

The S would be my choice, it has everything most people need and I believe is only available with the D350 at the moment. XD is nice but it’s mainly eye candy.
All 90s have coil suspension as standard, interactive display is standard on both, as is centre headrest and load space cover. Exposed recovery eyes are only £100 option on the S. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue |

I think that the spec you go with is the intersection of your intended use case/requirements and your budget.
Think about how you want to use the vehicle. Do certain features make more sense than others given your vision of using the vehicle? Example: I was considering whether I wanted traditional coil suspension or air suspension. Given that this vehicle is my wife's daily driver up here in cold Maine where we heavily salt the roads in the winter, I wanted a simple suspension setup that would not be susceptible to damage via corrosion. Also with that in mind, I was insistent on the vehicle having the cold weather package. Are you planning on taking the vehicle off the grid or just to the local offroad park or is it going to be a pavement princess? Do you plan on taking long road trips with lots of cargo? Do you want to hold onto the vehicle for more than a couple years ... well past the point where a lot of the techie gadgets will be as outdated as your iPhone 10.... I think asking others what spec you should get is going to result in a vehicle that would make other people happy, not yourself. |

Those are both considered base models. I am coming from an autobiography and HSE Dynamic so for me I went with the Defender X. I didn’t want another V8. And the base model just didn’t do it for me. 23 LBW/Urban Defender X 20 Velar Autobiography |

Without many options, you can get by...but I'll just say one thing...I would never, never, never buy this car without air suspension...I repeat, I would never do it...the rest...may end up being superfluous. Good luck with it!! Defender 110 SE I6 D250 23MY
