Incredibly creaky/squeeky sunroof
I've got a 2023 Defender 110 - it's still within the first 12 months so thinking about contacting the dealer as the noise is getting unbearable.

The roof is constantly creaking and squeeking and it gets worse the less even the road is, so off roading or even just driving on a badly-made road with a few speed bumps is unbearable. Does anyone else have this problem?

Hi there, I have exactly the same problem, it's like driving a white van with tools rattling around in the back! It's worse in dry and/or cold weather and is just ridiculous for such a 'luxury' vehicle. It's been to the dealership twice already and while they put tape round wires in the roof space, tighten some bolts, it's done nothing...in fact I would say it's worse now than it ever was. It's booked back in end of April (first time I can get a courtesy car!) and I'll need to speak with the service/dealership manager to know what other options I have.....sunroof replacement!

I sprayed silicon lubricant all along the joins of the sunroof (just from the outside) and wiped it all over the rubber seals of all the doors.

All creaking has stopped. Don't know how long it'll last but it's worked for now.

When I had an E class estate with a glass pano roof, it was part of each annual service to have the roof guiding rails lubricated to keep it operating properly.

Is this action part of Land Rover's service at any point? If not, I'd be doing exactly what dizee said. Since I'll be servicing the car annually regardless of the official routine, I'd be asking for this service carried out.

So I've used some gummi-pflege around all the rubber seals of the sunroof and the doors today.....fingers crossed it does the job! Thanks for the suggestion dizeeduckie
