Question: "MultiCAN-889 GSR2 EU Market Ft" on 2025
All,

First of all, thanks for this great resource.

I have a 2025 MY Defender 110 and it's the best car i've owned ever. The one thing that is annoying me is the resetting of the "Driver Assistance" to "High" on each start. So I got myself a GAP tool and an changed "MultiCAN-889 GSR2 EU Market F" to "NON-GSR Country". But still. it seems to reset to high (with the annoying beeps!).

What am i missing?

Thanks in advance!

John

Hi, I'm yet to do the same change, but can speak from the experience of enabling the wifi hotspot.

Did you lock the car for say 10 to 15 minutes and then rebooted the PIVI pro by holding the volume button pressed for over 20 seconds?

From what I understand this is the routine after applying a CCF change.

Did you create a custom profile with the settings off? Then it should remember to start on custom rather than high if that one was last selected.

Thanks for this. I can confirm all that was required was a bit of patience, all working great.

Side question: Any insight/clarifications on how making this change might impact warranty/insurance?

(It sure is an improvement)
