Although never done exactly that, I had removed my 90 battery box while the seatbox was out as I sent it for galvanizing.
I clearly recall that the seat box is resting on the sill, and perhaps also on one of the chassis supports that support the seat box. Cant remember exactly at the tub side. So probably doable if you remove the sill which is much less effort than removing the seatbox. I dont know if different on a 110 5 door body. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing 2012 90 CSW, 2.2TDCI, Santorini Black |

Yep, done this job on my 90 using the YRM kit. Cut the rusty remnants out leaving the seatbox in situ. Used drills for the rivets, spot weld cutter for the spot welds and a slitting disc in the grinder to slice it up into smaller pieces.
Primed and painted the YRM kit, then fitted it in place one part at a time. Assembled it with sealant and riveted it together sides first, then bottom last. Knowing the seatbox can stay in and then its just simple lego pieces is easy enough. Good luck! Instagram: L90andy My 1984 Ninety: http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic56071.html - SOLD!
