So I’m hoping that this will be an easy one to answer.
I had a few issues with the drivers electric window not working on my 2.2 puma only to find out that, with all that I’ve been doing lately, the fuse responsible had found it’s way into a vacant space… duh. Anyway, whilst I was diagnosing the problem, I saw that when I turned on the ignition, the odometer illuminated. Now I don't remember seeing this lit up before, except after I’ve turned the lights on and the whole dashboard is lit up, including the odometer. So is someone able to confirm, one way or the other for me please if the odometer lights up, with just the ignition on and the lights off? |

Mine also lights when you turn the ignition on, but a lad showed me you can turn it on by pressing the reset button when the ignition is off..
Handy if you just want the info and you don't have the key, or just saves cycling the ignition to see it..👍 |

Thanks Dinnu and andy63. That puts my mind at ease.
The weird thing is, is that I’ve owned, “Stumpy” for just over three years and can’t remember whether its illuminated or not….. despite being in the car for hundreds of hours and probably looking at it nearly every day!! ![]() |
