Would seem like a rather pointless comment.

Why?

It is pointless, as its only purpose is willy waving for YouTube views.

I'm all for modded vehicles... if only you knew what I had parked on the driveway.

But 700bhp is utterly pointless in a 90, you'll never get to properly use even a fraction of the power.

It would have been way more interesting to see them build Jag V8 or TDV8 powered one.

LS engines are just such a boring swap engine. Awesome engines (I have one outside now). But they get stuffed into everything for the past 2 1/2 decades.

Really, its just a waste of a good engine and someone with more money than brain cells to build such a vehicle.

So what? If the owner wants to spend the money, wants to fit a supercharged LS3, and wants to spec it to the hilt, then so be it.

We’ve all got different views on what to do with our wagons and it doesn’t make anyone’s pointless.

Some people would say owning a Defender in 2025 is pointless . . . Yet here we all are! Charlie

It seems to accelerate, brake and handle much, much better than my old 2.4 110 so in no way can be pointless.

Just waiting for confirmation of my 42 million win on the lottery and I'll be ordering one off Ian.......

Cheer up. You’re entitled to your opinion, but that last comment is completely unnecessary.

Well I can honestly say I'm devastated.

Despite promises from SWMBO apparently we didn't win the Euromillions last night, so unfortunately I cannot send the bacs for the deposit.

I will have to console myself with the excellent IRB tune I've enjoyed for 12 years or so.

Update !

SWMBO has just said its a roll over on the Euromillions so when we win next week we can order one each!

Its nice to dream of owning something so well engineered that would bring such smiles everyday - the more I think about it the more essential it becomes.

Pointless - never!

LS has been done to death now just like wooden floors but unfortunately TDV8 is a no go in a Defender chassis.
