Best place for new gearbox

So it’s looking like I may need a new R380 gear box for the 110 🤬🤬 where is the best place to go? I am leaning towards Ashcrofts

Any suggestions or feedback appreciated 😀 Andy

It’s personal preference, but I go to Winchester nowadays for all my bits. Charlie

I’ve only ever had Ashcroft ones.

So I’d recommend Winchester.

I'll be going to Winchester gears for my transfer box when I replace it. This is based on recommendations and the fact that the chap there told me the reason why he's more expensive is that he doesn't cut corners and use pattern parts and likes to replace bits that probably would be ok, but might not, instead of not replacing bits which are borderline serviceable but probably won't last long, therefore cutting costs. 1983 110 automatic OM606
