Td5 diesel knock when engine hot
Noticed now that diesel knock seems more and more pronounced when engine is fully up to temp.

What oil is in it? And is there enough? Injectors just click…

So knocking is bad! Could be many things. Check head gasket, timing chain, rockers… 🤷‍♂️

Nope, it’s definite combustion diesel knock, not oil or anything related. Only on idle does it get loud and when engine is up to temp. All other driving scenarios it’s fine. 2003 Defender 90 Td5 CSW Belize Green - "Betty"
