Time for the monthly post on what I have currently in stock if any members are looking for one. I offer a discount for Def2 members of £250 per vehicle off the listed price! Yes that is the plan once the builder finishes my office in the roofspace and also done the render outside on the blockwork!
 
a 2 post ramp is also being installed along with a 35KW waste oil burner for heat and hot water

Yellow 110 has sold

Updated picture now it has been stripped of its extras
Now priced for a quick sale at £12750 LED headlights and snow cowl will be replaced for standard if it doesnt sell at this price then ill put it into the workshop and do the rear crossmember and rear tub repairs and get it tip top. All the other defenders have sold on facebook

I've been monitoring Defenders on EBay and prices seem to be all over the place at the moment. Landy's that appear to be well maintained and are in good condition don't reach their reserves or achieve anywhere near the price I think that they will, while other vehicles must have gold bars or drugs hidden in the chassis and sell for well above what I would guess their worth is.
I've seen your XS and it looks a great Defender! I'm amazed that it hasn't sold, especially after your recent price reduction? I think that one of the things that put folk off the 2006 - 2012 CSW's is the high road tax which I believe is around the £735 mark? Anyway, good luck with the sale I hope that you get a good price. Yeah a couple were put off by the high road tax on these

I don’t understand the whole thing of being put off by the high tax.
What I’ve noticed is that the high tax M1’s are much cheaper to insure than the low tax N1 Defenders. So much so, that the high tax/low insurance and low tax/high insurance balance themselves out. Just IME of course. Others experiences might be different. 2008 2.4 110 Utility Station Wagon XS. |
