I have a 2.2tdci defender and the resistance on the potentiometer was around 50 ohms when full and about 1kohm on empty..
I remember thinking I'd replace the sender which clips on to the fuel tank pump and the price was in between two and three hundred pounds if I remember correctly.. same sort of price as the pump itself, so I hope that's not your issue.. |

I investigated a bit further this weekend clean some earth and ground and all seems to be back to normal. Here some pictures about the reading on the Nanocom when the tank is full (55l)
