Oh really, wouldnt I have made you an offer there and then if that was the case.
Think about it, spending 27k on a truck privately you're going to be cautious. Looked as though it had been apart, I walked away - whats the big deal. Good luck with the sale!! You're sounding desperate. |

Desperate not at all but when a buyer asks me “what’s my lowest to see if I can balance the insurance costs”, it had alarm bells ringing already. You look like you’ve had problems getting insurance all along.
It hasn’t been apart and doesn’t need to be either. I don’t have a big problem. I put the post up with pics for the next person as I was surprised by it. I would suggest you take a mechanic with you at your next viewing of what ever you look at. Or like you said have it inspected. I’d welcome any inspection so thinks that’s probably a wiser choice for you |

Dont need to, spoke to one on the way home and he stated it sounds as if its been apart.
Dont know why you are airing this on a forum. I didnt buy it, my choice. |

Yep!
But I answer to your question, I put up the pics for the next person so that they could see what you had questioned. It’s got nothing to hide. I get under it every year and give it a good going over so I know there’s nothing sinister in there. I also did a carverticle check but then you didn’t get as far as checking the history. You saw a shiney side of a bolt 😂 To be clear, I didn’t name you, you named yourself. I simply said it was a waste of time. You do you and leave my sale post alone now. Cheers! Ta ta! |

pre weekend bump and an update.
As I'm not in a mad panic to sell it. I've decided to do all of the advisories on the MOT. this includes the following * rear diff seal & drive flange as I only changed the seal last year so doing the lot. * second row door hinge. it's only one side that has play in the bottom hinge but as they come in a kit, I'll do both sides and retain the stainless fixings. painted in the same Firenzie Red * steering box leak. I think rather than mess about with seals, ive gone for a complete steering box and drop arm which comes with a 2 year warranty, so peace of mind for the next owner. There's a couple of week lead time on this though. this will clear all advisories on the MOT. happy for the vehicle to be inspected should anyone want to, paying particular attention to any shiny nuts |
