Hi, New member here. Thru the awesome work on this forum I got a GAP V4 tool for my 23' Defender 130. All the ACC programs I tried have worked except the parking feature and global open/close window with the remote. The parking shows up on Pivi but wont work. I think I need to disconnect the battery (read on another thread) to get these to work.
I found that the battery is under the pass seat, is there any specific process or pit falls to be aware of here? Thanks in advance. |

Disconnecting the battery on many cars will disable the auto window function, so these need relearning when the battery is reconnected.
Usually you put the window down with the switch and hold it down for a short while, then the same for putting it back up. Maybe try this but using the keyfob as that's how I lower all my windows at once to let the heat escape the car before letting the dogs jump in. On our Disco the sunroof opens too. |

Has anyone been able to set the default TR mode to anything other than Comfort? I have all the “features” other than the dreaded Park Assist. I had it almost working but the start button was greyed out. A huge thank you to this thread and the big contributors; Gap Diagnostics, Ian, Marco, and many others. Thanks to you all, my vehicle is way cooler!

I got my GAP IID tool last week and have been playing around with it a bit.
I have a Carpathian Edition (V in the North American Market. I have Pivi 4.1.5 installed. It came standard with many of the options out there, however I can still add a # of features with the tool. Yesterday, I was playing around with 882 and 895 in the CCF files. I can’t recall who/where it was posted (see text below), however it enabled a ‘shortcuts’ screen that allows for TR (Terrain Response) settings via soft buttons. It also made some changes to the ‘real estate’ on the left and right side of the screen. The right side now has a slider for Volume and the left side has TR Modes. When Pivi first booted up, it showed some ‘demo’ screens of the new layout. It included some Climate options on the left side. Unfortunately, they have not shown up yet on the screen. The only downside is that the left side used to be customizable with the apps that I could choose. It is now ‘fixed’. My guess is that there are more changes in the future and things will change over time, however I found this exciting to play with. Has anyone else seen this yet? Thanks for all who have contributed to this thread. I find it very fun to explore/add/customize features. FWIW, I am still not able to get Park Assist to work. Like others have posted, everything seems to sequence correctly, however the START button remains greyed out. The post I saw …882 to enable the side bars on the ends of the screen. This way you can quickly adjust the AC temp, fan, drive mode, seat temps, volume. You also need to enable a few setting that if I recall were grouped in the 895 and you can choose what short cuts you want displayed such as window defrost etc. Those are called soft buttons.. |

@RoysRover - This worked for me. Can't recall where found it tho. It took a couple reboots and restarts to appear. Note that I also performed some activations that gave me 'side menu bars' and the 'shortcuts' screen. I'm not sure if the success of this activation depends on those. I hope that it works out for you. I think it is already all on the main thread somewhere as I managed to enable the Auto mode a while ago. The problem is that it always defaults to Comfort on startup. You need to do a long press of the button or select it on screen to get the Auto Terrain.
According to the iGuide it will either default to Comfort or Auto depending on the market. Unfortunately it doesn't say what markets are supposed to do what! Mine is a UK spec car. Defender D350 X-Dynamic HSE 110 MY25 Carpathian Grey |

I used this as written above and the car start up on Auto terrain response but when I manually change to another program it is not possible to manually change back to AUTO even if it is visible on the screen. Anyone who know what to change to get it available? Long push does not work either. P400e with small screen MY23

Did you find that after changing the speedometer to the more accurate setting, the cruise control remains on the previous less accurate speed?
For example you set the cruise at 70mph but the speedometer says you are doing 67mph |
