[Wanted] Salisbury disc axle for a 110
Hello,

Looking for a disc Salisbury axle for my defender, I’m based in Yeovil in Somerset.

If anyone has one for sale that’s not a million miles away I would be very interested.

Thanks Dom Many defenders.....

When I was building my 110 I bought a disc braked Salisbury axle for it, but unfortunately it was absolutely ruined ( I didn’t remove the cover to check - If I did I wouldn’t have bought it, but that’s hindsight ) so I used the original axle and converted to discs with mainly new parts and second hand front hubs. This has been great as the original axle was in good order with low mileage, clean oil and possibly little towing. All I needed to fit was a new drive flange and seal, along with a strip down and clean. I’ve also got two complete spare centre axles ( less brakes ) for it, should I need a replacement. 1983 110 automatic OM606

ok then, so I may be better buying the brackets and converting mine from discs... my axle is in decent condition with very little wear on the diff so that may be a better option.
thanks mark, giving me all the help today!
