Very weird! I guess it can’t be Ordered with off road tyres because it would increase gas emissions…. Hence the 5 seater option only with off road tyres.
Make a deal with the dealer or swop the tyres soon after you drive off the show room. |

Just fit General Grabber AT3 all round when you get it and flog the new tyres it comes with.
These tyres are also the official LR approved ones ![]() 1974 Series 3 Lightweight = "Millie" Many Range Rovers and Land Rovers over the years 😂 1949 80" - still in family since 1975 |

As Dr Rob says. Order it as is, then fit grabber at3s, get a second set rims from ebay. Plenty about. Keep the new ones for when vehicle is sold on. Cheers

Thanks for the replies guys - yes, must be the emissions.
I have the Grabbers on my Discovery and they work really well in the mud so that would be a good option. Or the Wrangler tyres that are LR factory recommended. I’m not too fussed on either option as long as I can use off-road tyres, that’s the main thing. |

I ended up with Nitto Terra Grapplers and they ride so much better than stock on and off road and are still quiet.
Most folks recommend the Nitto Ridge Grapplers in our state for off-roading. 23 LBW/Urban Defender X 20 Velar Autobiography |

Just beware of LR version of the Wrangler. The side walls are significantly weaker than standard Wranglers.
I’d fit Grabber AT3s. Great tyre. Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy. |

"lt seems a bit ridiculous that Land Rover can't offer proper off-road tyres on a vehicle which is designed for going off-road!! Does anyone know why? Will these tyres fit the car? Is it a mistake on the configurator, maybe?"
Most buyers never go off road. People want the essence of an "adventure vehicle" even though it won't ever leave the tarmac in their ownership. Well, it might cross a field if they've got horses or a caravan. look at the take-up for steel wheels, surely the best wheel/tyre combination for off-road use. Nobody wants them. I've had a set of five new steel wheels with tyres on sale for a year and they didn't even move at at £450 for the set. |
