Terrafirma HD Tapered bumper
I bought a Terrafirma HD tapered bumper because I needed something quick and the guys who make the stainless ones had closed for Christmas.

When I came to fit it there was no possible way that it would go on a standard Defender chassis, the bottom plate that the captive nut plate would normally spring onto was 5mm too wide to go into the end of the chassis leg.

I’d read the instructions on the website and it said to reuse the captive nut plated from existing bumper but in the bag with the bolts were two t shaped plates with threads in them. I tried the captive nut plates but the was no way they could be used as there wasn’t enough clearance.

Just poor. Had to take the grinder to it to get it to fit as I needed to use the car.

The supplier was really good about it and gave me some money off once they saw the pictures. As for the manufacturer……….
