Intermittent starting failure
Anybody experienced intermittent starting failure?
Had it 5 or 6 times now since delivery (end July and on 2500miles).
Starts second time round.
LR Assist been out and found some codes (P0A0F-97 and P0A0F-93).

There was a BSIG recall earlier this year across most Defenders, this is the belt started integrated generator issue which can affect starting and charging of the smart alternator on these vehicles check if the recall has been done, it includes a software check/update.

Actually, the same thing has happened to me three times over the past week. When I depress the brake pedal and push the start button, all the systems fire up, but the engine doesn't start. I turn the ignition off and it starts fine on the second attempt.

MY25, D350 Defender with 600 miles on the clock.

Already getting the car booked in for something else, but now may also add this to the list.

Nothing to report apart from it’s having the coolant hose recall whilst the starting issue is being investigated. Being an intermittent issue then not easy to replicate Rolling Eyes MY25 90 D350 X-Dynamic HSE in Silicon Silver and coil sprung
