Td5 self locking problem
Please can someone advise on a locking issue on our 2003 Td5 90.

I was washing it with the keys in ignition and it simply lock itself so used spare key fob!

It now seems to unlock off the fob then lock itself again, could it be key fob battery?

Has anyone else had this type of problem.

I had something similar in the past.

The yellow wire ( from memory) had broken within the rubber boot between the door and the bulkhead.

Once I had the door card off, the loom loosened, then gently pulled on each wire until the broken one pulled through.

I then made a piggy back piece and and joined the two ends together..Cheaper than a new loom.

Hopefully it is as simple as that for you.
