18 inch rub caliper on D200
Hi All
I have a Defender 90 D200 S with stock 19 inch rims. For the winter i want to switch to 18 inch OZ rally raid Black rims.
Today during the fitting the rims Just rubt the brake calipers both front and rear leaving a small sratch.
The rims are 8,5 inch with et of 38.
Does anyone else had similar issues with 18 inch rims and the small brake setups?

Sounds like a problem with the wheels. The standard 18” steel wheels fit fine with plenty of clearance.

Does someone has a picture of the normal clearance with 18 inch wheels?

If the caliper is rubbing the rear face of the steel wheels couldn't you fit some wheel spacers to move it further out?
The offset you have is lower than the stock wheels so that seems to be your issue.

I bought some wheel spacers a few months back to use with my alloys but I've since taken them off. 30mm Terrafirma ones, they were only £145 to buy.

Will take a look at spacers, but don't want to go to wide as they are illegal in Belgium. So i dont want it to stand out too much.
