New Clutch and Vibrations
Hey There,

I recently installed a new LOF Performance Clutch in my Defender. While engaging the clutch with normal throttle, I’ve noticed vibrations running through the vehicle, especially around 1500-2000 RPM.

I followed the installation instructions meticulously and ensured all torque settings were correct. So far, I’ve only driven about 60 miles, so the clutch isn’t fully bedded in yet. However, I’m concerned that these vibrations might not subside over time.

Has anyone experienced similar issues with a new clutch? If so, did the vibrations resolve themselves after bedding in, or was further adjustment required?

Looking forward to your insights!
Benjamin

Hi, I have the exact same clutch and I have done 10k km. There were unfortunately never any vibrations like you describe. When the clutch were engaging the feel was kind of soft, but it was soon biting like it should. I do not see a lot that can go wrong when installing a clutch. Did you also change the output shaft?
You could phone LOF. They have very good customer service.
