Dual battery
Can you get a decent sized second battery under the bonnet of a diesel 110?

You can. I think Saltek make a bracket. I bought their compressor bracket to adapt it for a battery but I think there is a simpler solution.
Anyway, have a look at After The Land Rover Experience on You Tube.
This is a screen shot of the battery in their P400. The location is the same on right hand drive cars so fitting won't be an issue. I also bought a bonnet solar panel kit from Lensun to keep it topped up. However, I never got around to doing it because I sold my Defender to go back to a D4.
